National Post Graduate College was established in the year 1974 by the then
Chief-minister of Uttar Pradesh, Late Chandra Bhanu Gupta.
Situated close to the banks of river Gomti in the heart of the city, our lush green campus is
surrounded by major academic and administrative institutions. In a city of 16 Universities,
National P.G. College stands alone as the only college enjoying the highest status of
CPE (College with Potential for Excellence) and
Autonomous Status.
We offer a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science,
and Computer faculties. Our special grant from UGC has enabled the
Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra, focusing on skill development in ICT, ITES,
and Financial services.
